Grand Valley Metro Council On-Line Membership Discussion Forum

Welcome to the Grand Valley Metro Council On-Line Membership Discussion Forum!
T
his is West Michigan’s virtual coffee shop where officials and staff from GVMC-member counties and communities can pose questions, offer suggestions, exchange ideas, keep track of emerging issues, learn about and comment on the latest developments in Lansing and Washington and engage in a thoughtful dialogue about county and local governance.

Here you also can access GVMC’s Membership Training Exchange, a separate virtual discussion area within the Membership Forum where you can request training opportunities for elected officials and staff on a variety of topics and activities or offer to other GVMC-member counties and communities training opportunities that your county or municipality is offering.

GVMC staff will monitor the site, respond to questions and send periodic emails to all GVMC members when compelling questions or statements are posted in the various topical areas of the Forum.  You can respond to all comments, questions or statements posted by others and they, in turn, can respond to yours.

To get started, simply click to view the two videos below for instructions on how to register and how to use the discussion boards.  After you register, we will respond shortly via email confirming your ability to access GVMC’s on-line membership community.

I hope you find GVMC’s On-Line Membership Discussion Forum a useful tool for engaging your friends and colleagues in county and local government across the GVMC region in a timely and thoughtful on-line discussion on topics and issues that matter to all of us involved in county and local governance.
