NOTICE OF ELECTRONIC MEETING
Due to the most recent MDHHS Order, which requires nonessential personnel to work from home; the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) rules and orders that exist requiring, or advising of, preventative measures to be in place to protect public health, including limitations on gatherings and use of remote technologies; and the declaration of a State of Emergency within Kent County, which allows public bodies within Kent County who have complied with orders or who have voluntarily elected to meet virtually to continue such practice consistent with the Open Meetings Act Amendment, Public Act 228 of 2020, as amended if there is a declaration of a local state of emergency to protect public health, the Policy Committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 19 at 9:30 am will be held electronically. This effort will help to avoid unneeded personal contact and otherwise minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A copy of the full agenda for this meeting is available here.
