Development of the FY2020-2023 TIP to Begin Soon

Grand Valley Metropolitan Council (GVMC) is pleased to announce that it will begin developing the FY2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) in early December, 2018. Transportation Programming Study Group meetings are scheduled for Monday, December 3 and Wednesday, December 5, and transportation projects will be selected at these meetings. Both meetings will take place at 9:00 am at GVMC, and a copy of the agenda packet can be found here. The TIP document describes transportation projects from 2020-2023 within Kent and Eastern Ottawa Counties. Maps of deficient transportation facilities that will be considered for improvement during the TIP development process are available on our Transportation Improvement Program page. Please stay tuned for information on upcoming public meetings, public comment opportunities, and updates, which will be posted as they occur, and please view our press release for additional information.
