The Grand Valley Metropolitan Council is pleased to announce that it is beginning the process of developing the FY2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which will include funded transportation projects for Kent and eastern Ottawa Counties. The Transportation Programming Study Group, a subcommittee of GVMC’s Technical Committee, will meet on Wednesday, November 10 at 1:00 pm at Rapid Central Station to begin selecting projects for the TIP. Safety, condition, and congestion deficient transportation facilities that will be considered for improvement during the TIP development process can be found on GVMC’s website. More information is also available in our press release. Please stay tuned for information on upcoming public meetings, public comment opportunities, and updates, which will be posted as they occur.
If you have questions about the TIP development process, please email Laurel Joseph, Director of Transportation Planning, or call (616) 776-7610.
Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services and persons requiring translation or interpretation assistance should email Andrea Faber or call (616) 776-7603.
