GVMC Creates Single Source Online Web Map to View Zoning and Master Plan Data on a Regional Level

In the spring of 2016 GVMC started a regional data collection effort to collect all zoning and master plan (future land use) data for all Metro Council Members.  The goal of the project was to collect the data and create generalized codes to provide a useful resource for GVMC programs/members, Regional Prosperity Efforts, Economic Development Partners, etc.  At the October 2017GVMC Board meeting the collaborative project team made up of local government planners was introduced and the final project update was provided.  The update indicated an online web map was also going to be developed.  We are happy to announce the tool has been developed and a link has been provided below along with the document that describes the 11 region codes in more detail.
