Consultation is Underway for FY2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program
The consultation period for the FY2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) has begun!
Grand Valley Metropolitan Council (GVMC) is seeking input on the Fiscal Year 2023-2026 TIP draft project lists from Federal, State, Tribal, and local agencies responsible for land use management, natural resources, environmental protection, conservation, and historic preservation to foster cooperation and promote communication with these organizations.
GVMC is asking that consulted organizations look over the proposed project lists and the corresponding map on GVMC’s TIP page and compare them with any projects or planned projects that their organization may be undertaking. (For example, using inventories of natural or historic resources, please note if there are transportation projects that will interact or interfere with your organization’s future policies or programs.) Then, we ask that you provide your analysis of the information provided, including your opinion of how well the information was presented and the mitigation strategies you would offer to limit the impact of proposed transportation projects on the environment, your organization’s plans, or people that you serve.
Comments or concerns regarding these projects should be submitted to Laurel Joseph by Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Comments can be mailed to the address below, submitted over the phone (616.776.7610) or by email.
