Play MTP Bingo, Win Prizes!

Play B-I-N-G-O with Us!  GVMC invites the public to participate in our 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Bingo competition! Participants are asked to complete activities on the bingo card to create a bingo, which include interacting with the transportation system or learning about available transportation resources. Once a bingo has been achieved, the participant can submit their bingo card with a comment that compares their experience with the transportation system and what they’ve learned to the results of GVMC’s needs analyses that summarize current and future transportation needs by mode and transportation issue (i.e., safety, congestion, and pavement condition).

All participants submitting a bingo card can pick up a summer fun safety kit from GVMC AND be entered to win several grand prizes, including:

  • $100 gift card to Gazelle Sports

  • $100 gift card to Tanger Outlets

  • $50 gift card to Celebration Cinemas

  • Four box seat tickets to a Whitecaps game

  • Seasonal pass to Millennium Park Beach and Splashpad

GVMC NEEDS ANALYSES

Hard copies of the bingo card are also available at GVMC’s office. Additional pickup locations and more information about the game, including rules to play and liabilities, are located on our MTP page. Completed bingo cards and comments on the needs analyses will be accepted through Wednesday, July 12. Participants can submit completed bingo cards and comments in person, online, or by mail or email.

Please note: It is not necessary to participate in MTP bingo to comment on GVMC’s needs analyses. Comments can be submitted online, by email to Andrea Faber, by mail to our office, by phone (call 616.776.7603), or in person during our office hours. To stay informed about the effort, sign up to receive regular updates on our public participation page.

Developing the needs analyses was a collaborative process. GVMC worked with various stakeholders and Committees, including organizations representing transit, passenger rail, air travel, freight movement, and nonmotorized modes of transportation. GVMC also analyzed pavement condition, traffic congestion, and safety for all users of the transportation system. This work will be the foundation for proposing solutions to meet the current and forecasted transportation needs by mode for the 2050 MTP, GVMC’s long-range transportation plan. GVMC is required by federal law to update the MTP every four years.

Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services and those requiring an interpreter or translation service to participate should contact Andrea Faber by phone at (616) 776-7603 or email for assistance.
