TIP Amendment for City of Walker Bristol Avenue Bridge Project
The City of Walker has requested to increase the local share of funding on their FY2023 Bristol Avenue project that will widen the road under the railroad bridge from one lane to two. This request is due to an increase in estimated project costs and will increase the total budget by more than 25% of the original federally approved budget, requiring a federal amendment to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The federal funding will not change, and no other projects in the TIP will be impacted. See below for details.
Programmed Budget
Federal Funding - $1,854,421
Local Funding - $445,579
Total Budget - $2,300,000
Proposed Budget
Federal Funding - $1,854,421
Local Funding - $1,057,201
Total Budget - $2,911,622
